Cuban specialities introduced in Hanoi
Lovers of Cuban culture and products in Hanoi will have chance to learn more about the country and find authentic Cuban specialities with the opening of an outlet in the city on January 8.

Cuban culture and products are popular to Vietnamese people thanks to their quality and the good relationship between the two countries over the past six decades.
Speaking at the event, Dag Holmboe, CEO Pacific Cigar Company, said that this space will not only show off Cuban special products but also promote Cuban culture through various activities with exhibitions and music.
According to Golden Phoenix Company which runs the outlets in Vietnam, Habanos S.A. owns all Cuban cigar brands and distribute them worldwide. At present, there are 27 brands protected by the D.O.P. Habanos.
Besides cigars, the shop will also provides Diageo whisky which is a global brand famous for some types including Single Malt, Lagavulin, Talisker, Mortlach, Oban, Cragganmore, and many other types with limited versions.
Attending the opening ceremony, Cuban Ambassador to Vietnam, Lianys Torres Rivera expressed hopes that trade between Cuba and Vietnam will further grow after the opening of this first Habanos Specialist outlet in Hanoi.

According to the ambassador, with the opening of two Habanos Specialist outlets in Hanoi and HCM City, cigar lovers in Vietnam will have chance to enjoy the best quality products at reasonable prices.
"I want to express my thanks to Golden Phoenix Company and Avanti Group for your co-operation with Pacific Cigar Company to introduce Cuban products to Vietnam, which we have waited for long," the ambassador said. "This will help Cuban cigar lovers in Vietnam to easily find and enjoy our best products at their best quality."
