Gala performance held to honour national contributors
A gala performance took place at the Hanoi Opera House on July 17 to honour contributors to the nation on the occasion of the upcoming Day for Wounded and Fallen Soldiers.
With the participation of famous artists, the programme featured many famous songs portraying national pride and the gratitude of later generations towards those who have sacrificed themselves in the struggle for national independence and liberty.
In addition to songs and dances, television reports were also shown to help the audience gain a better understanding of the great contributions of servicepeople, heroic mothers and their families.
At the programme, the organisers handed 60 savings books, worth VND5 million each, to representatives of fallen soldiers and heroic mothers in the provinces of Ha Tinh, Bac Giang, Phu Tho and Hanoi.
