Phuc appointed national squad caretaker coach

Trainer Hoang Van Phuc has been assigned to lead Vietnam’s national football team in its two matches with the UAE on February 6 and Hong Kong (China) on March 22 in the 2015 Asian Cup qualifying round.
Most recently, the U22 team under his instruction performed very well at the 2012 Binh Duong Television (BTV) Cup.
The national team will gather on January 23 to prepare for a friendly match with Hyundai Mipo Dolphin from the Republic of Korea at Hang Day stadium in Hanoi on January 31.
The decision was made by the leaders of the Vietnam Football Federation on January 13.
