Manchester City FC is worried about security at Hanoi's My Dinh Stadium, where it will play a friendly match on July 27, its main concern being the throwing of flares by fans during play.

The Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) said it would ensure teams of firefighters are on hand and extra Hanoi police would be on duty to keep fans under control within and outside the stadium.
VFF Secretary Le Hoai Anh said police would be working with a private security firm to patrol the grounds on July 27.
