After Yanmar last year, Z.com is the third Japanese corporation to sponsor the team.

Under the non-disclosure agreement with its value and duration kept confidential, Z.com has the right to advertise its brand on billboards on the field in each domestic game the national team plays and put its logo on the team’s practice uniform. It also affirmed support for promotional activities of the team through its website.

In addition to the official sponsor, Z.com will consider other support activities and provide equipment for better training for the national team.

VFF Secretary General Le Hoai Anh praised the importance of the collaboration and expressed his hope that Z.com would support Vietnamese football in the long rung with specific schedules and practical activities to promote the overall development of the sport in Vietnam.

Chairman of the Managing Board and General Director of Z.com Masatoshi Kumagai stressed that football receives great attention from the entire society in Vietnam.Z.com hopes to contribute to Vietnamese football’s overall development, as well as facilitating Internet development for economic stability in the country.

Along with jersey sponsorship for the national team, Z.com is also a sponsor for the national U23 team and the women's national football team.

The same day, Z.com also signed a private sponsorship contract with Nguyen Cong Phuong, a player of the national squad who is on a one-year loan to J2-League football club Mito Hollyhock. Phuong will now become a representative for the Z.com brand.

Currently, Z.com is providing Internet services such as domain name and server leasing in Asia. In Vietnam, GMO RunSystem JSC has deployed Internet services under the brand Z.com since October 2015.
