Following Vietnam’s victory against Jordan on Sunday, many travel firms introduced tours for Vietnamese fans to Dubai, using direct flights from Hanoi and HCM City.

The package tours are priced from VND27-30 million (USD1,173-1,304).

Nguyen Cong Hoan from Hanoi Redtour said that many people have called his firm to ask about trips to Dubai.

According to Hoan, customers need to book tours early so that the company can finish visa procedures on time; particularly the number of direct flights from Vietnam to Dubai has remained limited.

Pham Van Bay, a representative from Vietravel said that the company has worked with UAE for charter flight service to conduct the tours.

The two-day tours from Hanoi will be conducted on January 24 with the price of VND27.9 million; while the price for tours from HCM City will be VND30 million.

“Tours to Dubai are often 6-7 days, but those designed for football fans are shorter and cheaper,” Bay added, noting that his company has received the registration from around 200 customers for the tour.

Bay noted that fans will also be provided with shirts and national flags to cheer on the national football team.

Other travel companies have also organised tours combining Dubai and UAE for four days and three nights.
