The Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) has set a target to win a gold medal at SEA Games 30 in which U22 team will participate in.

The highest achievement of Vietnam’s football at SEA Games 30 so far has just been the silver medal.

Speaking with Tien Phong Newspaper, a representative from VFF said that training U22 team for SEA Games 22 was part of Park Hang Seo’s contractual obligations.

Regarding the contract renewal for Park, the VFF representative said that this has not yet been discussed as it will run until January 2020.

“When the contract extension is carried out, the VFF will have to consider Park’s contributions to local football over the past time”, he added, noting that a salary rise, as well as other incentives, would be considered later.
