The Asian Football Confederation informed the Vietnam Football Federation on January 15.

Many Vietnamese fans have worn clothes or brought items with logos from businesses that do not have commercial rights at the tournament into the stadium in the last two matches. AFC confirmed that it was the sole entity that owns the image, trademark and commercial exploitation rights at the 2020 Asian Cup.

Any firms that advertise their products and services at the tournament or related events without AFC's written agreement are infringing the sponsorship agreements and the AFC will carry out measures to protect their rights.

AFC also announced that the commercial exploitation rights inside the stadiums belong to the local organisers. Individuals and firms are banned from conducting businesses and promotion without written agreement.

The Vietnam Football Federation advised fans to be careful with their clothes and other items supporting their team.

The match between Vietnam and North Korea will start at 8.15 pm on January 16 at the Rajamangala Stadium.
