Tickets for play-off between Vietnam and Australia set to go on sale

The Football Federation of Australia (FFA) have made an announcement regarding the venue of the play-off match for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics between the Vietnamese national women’s football team and their Australian rivals which will take place on March 6, in addition to releasing information about ticket prices.

The FFA have announced that the first-leg tie will be held at the McDonald Jones Stadium in Newcastle, Australia, with the game kicking off at 8pm on March 6, or 4pm according to Vietnam time.

The stadium is home to A-League side Newcastle Jets FC and has a total capacity of 33,000 seats.

The FFA will be selling tickets for the fixture online from February 14 to February 17, with prices hovering from AUD15, equivalent to VND234,000, and AUD35, equivalent to VND546,000.

Following the tickets being sold online, the FFA will then start selling tickets at the McDonald Jones Stadium at higher prices, with tickets ranging from AUD20, equivalent to VND312,000, and AUD40, equivalent to VND625,000.

Following the game in Australia, the second leg will take place at the Cam Pha stadium in the northern province of Quang Ninh on March 11, with the Vietnam Football Federation currently waiting to announce details about tickets to the fixture.
