AFF Cup final match tours launched
Many Vietnamese travel companies have launched tours to Thailand for the AFF Cup Final between Thailand and Vietnam on January 16.
The tour includes the ticket for the match, so is more costly than a normal package.
Flamingo RedTours are offering a two-day and one-night tour to Thailand for VND20.9 million per person, including the fees for visiting the country’s tourist sites.
Vietravel has planned to offer a total of between 150-200 slots for tours from Hanoi to Thailand on January 15 and 16 with the full-package price of VND5.99 million (USD253) per person, including the match ticket.
Meanwhile, the HCM City-Thailand tour for three days and two nights is VND14.9 million, including the ticket.
According to Pham Van Bay, deputy director of Vietravel Hanoi, a third of tours from Hanoi and HCM City to Thailand for January 15 and 16 have been sold.
Vietravel is also providing tours from HCM City to Hanoi to watch the first leg of the final between Vietnam and Thailand on January 13.
Vietnam will play the first leg final against Thailand at My Dinh National Stadium in Hanoi at 7.30pm on January 13. The two teams will then clash in the second leg final at Thammasat Stadium at 7.30pm on January 16.
Cong Hau, 29, from the northern province of Hung Yen said he and some of his friends had booked a tour. This is also their first overseas trip after Covid-19 restrictions had been loosened.
