Tourist in motorbike stand-off goes viral
A short clip in which a foreign tourist is trying to prevent a young Vietnamese woman from driving a motorbike on a pedestrianised street in Hanoi has gone viral.
In the clip, the foreign man stopped a female Vietnamese motorbike driver and requested the woman to stop the engine on the walking street.
During the stand-off many passers-by expressed their opinions, advising the woman to follow the foreign tourist’s advice.
After trying to object, the woman finally decided to follow.
The clip attracted the attention of many viewers and sparked debate.
Many members of the public strongly supported the foreign tourist’s action and said that people should follow the law, while other people commented, claiming the foreigner had no right to insist someone should obey the regulation.
