Companies rush to prepare gold products for God of Wealth Day
Vietnamese gold companies are introducing various types of gold products for the God of Wealth Day on the 10th of Lunar January or February 6 this year.
Duong Tuan Anh, spokesperson for DOJI Group said they had prepared 200,000 gold coins with the image of the rooster to represent the wishes for wealth, lucky and smooth career.
A representative of Bao Tin Minh Chau Group also said more and more people were buying gold for God of Wealth Day. They also prepared small and cheaper gold products for small businesses such as simple rings and other jewellery.
Nguyen Thi Cuc, deputy director of PNJ Company, said they had to make plan early to avoid shortage or slow delivery such as opening the stores early and increasing the staff. She also promised that they would try to keep the gold price stable for the event.
"This year, PNJ will introduce 150,000 new designs made of 24k gold such as the gold bars and pieces with rooster images," she said.
They also issue 5,000 gilded products that cost from VND15m (USD663) to VND17m to meet demands.
