Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Vu

Vu is the only teacher in Vietnam to be recognised by the Microsoft Partners in Learning programme. The programme is aimed to promote creative teaching and learning activities for teachers across the world.

After attending the programme, selected teachers can help disseminate their knowledge to colleagues, in order to encourage their students to apply skills in IT, logical thinking and co-operation for better study results.

Dr. Vu said that he would try to use the knowledge he gained to help improve teaching in Vietnam.

Director of the programme James Bernard said, IT has become increasingly adopted in teaching and Microsoft were delighted to honour and support the work of creative teachers.

The 10-year USD500 million Microsoft Partners in Learning project will assist more than 8 million teachers in 114 countries in the creative and effective use of IT in their teaching activities.
