Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Thien Nhan has given a nod for the Vietnamese Talent Awards to extend its reach to the education field.

Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Thien Nhan was delighted to announce the expansion of the Awards into education field.

The Vietnamese Study Encouragement Association and the Ministry of Education will discuss about examining criterion and award organisation.

The Vietnamese Talent Awards has been held annually by Dan Tri online newspaper, Vietnam Television Station and VNPT group since 2005 under the guideline of the Politburo to boost information technology adoption in every life aspect.

Since 2009, the awards have been expanded to the natural science field and have honoured three prominent Vietnamese scientists.

With the latest expansion, the Vietnamese Talent Awards will keep discovering and honouring talents in information technology, natural science and education.
