Uyen Luu has become one of the leading Vietnamese food chefs in the UK.

Despite studying arts and fashion, Luu began her journey to remarkable success when she started writing about how to make Vietnamese dishes on her personal blog.

It subsequently attracted large audience of loyal followers, drawn in by the photos of the dishes she regularly cooked herself.

The blog has enabled Luu to embrace and pursue her passion for the culinary arts. She says she wants to share her love for her job with other people.

Despite leaving Vietnam when she was only 5 years old, Luu often manages to return to her homeland every year to sample the local dishes. Pho bo—rice noodles in a savoury broth with beef and herbs—is a particular favourite.

The young chef is now busy compiling a cookbook designed to introduce the special dishes of Vietnam to international audience.
