The Audi Star Creation 2013 was for young fashion designers from the Asian countries. The winners, including Singaporean Haziq Putra and Chinese Sun Yi Zin, received US$8,000.

They will sign a one-year working contract with Singaporean fashion company FJ Benjamin. Their collections will be shown at next year's Asia Fashion Exchange.

Linh's women's wear collection, titled Contour, draws on its distinct curves and waves from rice terraces in the northern province of Lao Cai.

Linh captures the region's elegance through contrasts in colours, lines and materials. He also utilises techniques, such as quilting, stitching, weaving, embroidery and patchwork.

A graduate in fashion design from the Hanoi London College of Fashion Studies in 2012, Linh fell in love with traditional Vietnamese costumes. He learned not only to make them but also understands the history behind them.

In 2009, he took second place at Ha Noi's Aquafina Pure Fashion competition.

Created in 2010 by the Singaporean Textile & Fashion Federation, The Audi Star Creation 2013 attracted competitors from Singapore, China, Japan, Malaysia, South Korea, Mongolia, Thailand and Vietnam.
