Student wins arts scholarship in US
A Vietnamese student has won scholarships for universities and colleges in the US.
Truong Thanh Tra My, 19, has been offered scholarships for arts and design from Parsons School of Design, Cleveland Institute of Art, Miami University, Augustana College and Denison University. She accepted the USD168,181 offer from Denison University.

Financial constraints meant she spent time working as a tutor. She also tried to work for a fine arts workshop to earn money. This helped develop her life skills.
“I really like painting, so I’ve tried my best to pursue this. When drawing, I feel that the whole world is in my hands. It’s my passion,” she said.
My revealed that she will study at Denison University in Ohio State.
