Hanoi- Fansland – “The Phantom of the Opera” Tribute

HCMC-Saigon Chamber Music: Young Virtuosi Concert 2017

The world around us has many extraordinary things. The “Ohé Science” collection not only presents us with the multifaceted image of nature but also answers to children’s questions about nature. The collection includes 10 books: Planets in sight – The solar system; A beautiful plant! – Life of flowering plants; As the crow flies – Migrations; Hot volcanoes – Volcanism; Stars – Astronomy; Water – The water cycle; Rain and fine weather – Meteorology; Like marmots – Hibernation; A horse of horses – A domestic species; Good appetite animals – Diets.

This exhibition presents different views from children on the issues addressed in the collection. Under the guidance of the cartoonist Nguyen Tuan Son (Picas Son), the children will paint their scientific world with their pure and naive brushes.

HCMC-Exhibition 'Then I Can Turn the World Upside Down'

‘Then I Can Turn the World Upside Down’ is an exhibition of works on paper by five Vietnam-based contemporary artists. Each work explores in its own subjective way, by Le Hoang Bich Phuong, Mai Hoang, Nguyen Manh Hung, Florian Nguyen and Hoang Nam Viet, the myriad of possibilities inherent in the medium of drawing to create imaginary realities which evoke the subconscious.

With their ink and paper, the artists have created visions of hidden beauty and reinterpretations of the world, revealing quasi-hallucinatory perspectives on otherwise too familiar landscapes.







HCMC-Exhibition “The Picture Will Still Exist”

Featuring photographs, paintings and video works selected from the Post Vidai Collection.

Showcasing eight established and emerging Vietnamese artists and collectives, including Dinh Q. Le, Hoang Duong Cam, Howard Henry Chen, Le Quy Tong, Ngoc Nau, Phuong Linh, The Propeller Group and Vo An Khanh. A number of artworks, such as Dinh Q. Le’s WTC in four moments (2014), The Propeller Group’s AK-47 vs. M16 (2015) and Phuong Linh’s Sanctified Clouds (2012-2015), will be on display for the first time to the Vietnamese public.

A solo exhibition of oil and lacquer paintings on wood by Saigon-based artist Tran Minh Tam.

First time art lovers and collectors became familiar with Tran Minh Tam’s portrayal of royal characters from the past in 2013, when he first introduced his House of Nguyen I series.
