Hanoi-Concert “Con chim già ngất ngư” by Le Cat Trong Ly

Concert Hall, Vietnam National Academy of Music, 77 Hao Nam Street
In the first half of the show, Ly will perform all latest songs she composed during the time she studied in Denmark and Sweden as well as the ones she wrote in Bhutan.
In the other half, Ly will bring to the audience the songs that she really likes in the latest album “Khong sao ve bat dau” released this summer. The songs bring numerous classical and folk elements with the arrangement of Tu. Ly said that over 10 years working with music, not until recently did she feel less embarrassed when listening to her old songs.

VICAS ART STUDIO

A fun playground for 36 Vietnamese painters and sculptors to celebrate New Year 2018 and the upcoming Lunar New Year (Year of the Dog).
On display are 80 paintings which have been newly created in different styles.
Hanoi-Augmented Reality Exhibition “Joy”

12 artists in the field of illustration, typography, directing, and GIF’s have collaborated with the MNSTR Agency to create an exhibition on augmented reality, bringing an exciting experience to the public. The artworks on exhibit are brought to life when viewed via a mobile application. A fun and poetic experience in which the audiences travels through crafts and digital artworks; paper and screen, silence and sound.

HCMC-Exhibition “Remnant” by Le The Lam
The Factory Contemporary Arts Centre, 15 Nguyen U Di, Thao Dien, District 2, Ho Chi Minh City
Featuring the sorrow and anxiety of living in postwar Vietnam. In this exhibition, Le The Lam’s paintings depict different states of a ‘silent death’, using the presence of closed coffins and lingering shadow-like humans, interspersed at times with words.
