Hanoi-Interactive Sound Install with Siedl/Cao

A Multimedia Installation and Live performance called „Series of INTERACTIVE SOUND INSTALLATIONS“ by the duo Vienna-based artists Cao Thanh Lan (Vietnam) and Gregor Siedl (Austria).

Experience the physical nature of sound and the inherent link between visual and audio elements. Cao Thanh Lan and Gregor Siedl will set up several interactive installations, which enable everyone to “play” with sounds. Some of the installations are inspired by the special sonic environment of Hanoi. Together, let’s touch, see, feel and understand these sounds around us!

Hanoi-Music Night: Pham Duy and Trinh Cong Son

An encounter between two great artists, two musical styles, and two approaches towards life in celebration of musician Trinh Cong Son’s 80th birth anniversary.

HCMC-Teh Dar: Vietnamese Tribal Culture

February 25-27-28, and March 1, 6:00 pm

Ho Chi Minh City Opera House, 7 Cong Truong Lam Son, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1

Featuring a vibrant display of circus arts, aerial acrobatics, and tribal music within an hour-long performance.

The show highlights the lives of tribal families from the southwest highlands of Vietnam, using UNESCO-listed percussion instruments, such as Vietnamese gongs and buffalo horns, as well as vibrant costumes, and a stunning bamboo cirque depicting various landscapes and creatures from tribal folklores.

An exhibition by 14 photography and design students with various backgrounds from Berlin. Through their work audiences will feel the trembles, anxieties but at the same time endless curiosities, brave, joys and hopes of a young generation of artists and designers from Germany and nine other countries.

A photography – augmented reality exhibition “France eMotion” by four photographers: David Schalliol, Ishola Akpo, Edu Monteiro & Lourdes Segade; two digital artists: Julie Stephen Chheng and Thomas Pons, and curator Muriel Enjalran

Visitors to the exhibition can follow the adventures of an imaginary character through the photographs and thus discover the tremendous richness of French heritage.

HCMC-Photo exhibition on Bru – Van Kieu people

HCM City Fine Arts Museum.

A photo exhibition featuring life and religion of the Bru – Van Kieu ethnic group in Vietnam.

The exhibition, Divinities, Ancestors and Shamans: The Bru - Van Kieu in the Truong Son Range, showcases 250 photos taken by Hungarian professor of socio-cultural anthropology Gábor Vargyas in the 1980s.
