Commuters can reach their destination in just five hours, considerably improving from the duration of the previous journey.
A consortium of the Deo Ca Group and 194 Construction Investment Corporation developed the Cam Lam-Vinh Hao Expressway as a key component of the first phase of the North-South Expressway project.
According to a representative from Deo Ca Group, after the five-day Reunification Day (April 30) and May Day holiday, the consortium has submitted the road fee collection to the Ministry of Transport for consideration.
The route will apply electronic toll collection (ETC), so vehicles will not have to stop, helping to save time and avoid congestion.
Three toll booths will be on the expressway, with two in Ninh Thuan and one in Binh Thuan.
An AI-powered camera system has also been installed along the four-lane expressway.
Deo Ca Group will finish constructing a service area on April 28 in Binh Thuan’s Thuan Nam District.
The VND8.92 trillion (USD364 million) Cam Lam-Vinh Hao Expressway is 78 kilometres long and passes through Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan, and Binh Thuan.
