Vietnamese-American beauty Pham Thuy Vy Victoria left Vietnam for London on October 18 to attend Miss World 2011.

Thuy Vy, first runner-up of Miss Vietnam World 2010, said, “I will do my utmost during the contest in order not to disappoint my relatives, friends and audience."

Thuy Vy, 21, measures 1.71 metres tall, weighs 47 kg and possesses vital statistics of 83-60-88. Apart from finishing runner-up at Miss Vietnam World 2010, Vy was also crowned Miss Asia in California in 2009.

She is one of the favorites for Miss World thanks to her fluent English and excellent education background - she studied at Berkeley University in California.
