Superior Buddhist monk Thich Tanh Nhiec, from Pho Minh Pagoda (Dong Hoi Commune, Quang Binh Province), was chosen to be the one who received this precious gift from the Myanmar Buddhist Patriarch, Silan An Da. He said, "This is a priceless and very meaningful present that the Myanmar Buddhist Patriarch has given to the people of Vietnam. We are very honoured to have this gift and this certainly has marked a good start in the future harmonious relationship between the two countries Buddhism."
