Deputy PM calls for helping hands to ease blood scarcity

Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh has called on management officials, agencies, organisations, and businesses to join in encouraging more people to donate blood to help hospitals ease the chronic shortage.

This year's 'Red Sunday' blood donation campaign with the participation of 31 provinces and cities nationwide is anticipated to collect an estimated 35,000 units of blood to solve the blood shortage during the upcoming Lunar New Year holiday.
