Salvaged Ring, an airy and spacious coffee shop located in the countryside of the coastal city of Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa province has been listed as one of strong competitors at World Architecture Festival taking place at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore from Oct. 1-3.

The owner of Salvaged Ring, who works as a local carpenter, provided the wood to the architects in hopes of “giving another life" to the salvaged materials. In addition to scrap wood, the finished structure was also built with locally sourced rocks, coconut leaves, and other materials to help the building blend in with the local village architecture.

Other world’s top architectural works include Maritime Museum of Denmark, Narigua House  of Mexico, Akiha Ward Cultural Centre of Japan, Wat Ananda Metyarama  Buddhist Temple of Thailand, Aula Medica of Sweden, Birmingham library of the UK, Abadan Residential Apartment of Iran, and Jockey Club Building  of Hong Kong.

World Architecture Festival is one of the biggest and most prestigious annual architecture programmes, attracting the participation of more than 40 countries in the world.
