Coal mine cave-in kills two
Two workers died and two escaped after a coal mine cave-in in Quang Ninh Province on July 22.

A section of the coal mine of Vang Danh Coal Co. suddenly caved in at around 8:20pm on July 21. At that time, four employees were working inside. Two workers were able to escape. Two other senior workers, Vu Dinh Thanh and Bui Ngoc Toan, were trapped inside.
Dang Duy Hau, vice chairman of Quang Ninh Province and other officials arrived at the scene to direct the rescue mission.
After 10 hours, rescuers found them and they were taken to Vietnam-Sweden Hospital, but were pronounced dead on arrival.
Quang Ninh authorities are investigating the accident.
