Chinese sailor treated for accident
A Chinese sailor was taken for hospital treatment after he was injured while working on his ship on July 11.
Cui Jisheng was hit by a hoist crane and suffered a 5-centimetre-deep wound. He had fainted after losing too much blood. The Chinese ship called for medical aid.
Vietnam Maritime Search and Rescue Co-ordination Centre contacted the ship and guided them on first aid until rescuers arrived.
A rescue boat found and approached the ship at around midnight. The injured crewman was transferred to Nha Trang City for his treatment.
