Hue cyclo driver fined for overcharging tourists
A cyclo driver in the imperial city of Hue has just been fined for overcharging two American visitors to the city.

The Thua Thien-Hue Provincial Department of Tourism said on June 6 that they had issued a fine of VND1 million (USD44) to Tong Anh Thanh for overcharging two American tourists who use his cyclo service.
According to a report from the department, the two American tourists, Helena Phan Nguyen her husband Tony Nguyen used Thanh's cyclo service to tour the city for one hour on the evening of May 31. Thanh charged them VND 1.5 million (USD66) for the trip while the normal fee should have been only VND500,000.
Thanh admitted his overcharging the tourists and agreed to return VND1 million.
The department said that they have informed the two tourists who have left the city, about the case and the tourists were pleased with the solution.
