Another cold spell to affect northern region

The northern region has been forecasted to see another cold spell from this afternoon, November 7.

According to the National Centre for Hydro-meteorology Forecasting, the cold snap would bring rains and thunderstorms to many northern localities.

Northern mountainous areas are likely to see the lowest temperatures ranging from 15 to 17 degrees centigrade in the days to come. Meanwhile, the lowest temperature for the whole northern region would be 17 to 20 degrees centigrade.

The Gulf of Tokin is set to face strong winds and rough seas early tomorrow morning.

Heavy rains and thunderstorms are likely to happen in many northern and central localities until November 9.

The National Centre for Hydro-meteorology Forecasting has also issued flood warnings for rivers in Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Binh Dinh and Khanh Hoa provinces from now until November 10.
