Randay T. (third from the right) reclaims the money

The representative of Jetstar Pacific returned the money to Randy T. on November 8 at Tan Son Nhat Airport.

The money was forgotten on flight BL693 from Danang to HCM City on November 3 and was discovered by the flight crew after passengers had disembarked the plane. After finding a backpack with VND233m in cash, the crew quickly reported to the Jetstar Ground Service Centre at Tan Son Nhat Airport to find the owner.

Randy realised that he had forgotten the backpack after reaching the hotel. He called Jetstar Pacific for help and was told that his backpack had been found and kept at the airport. Randy said he felt assured and continued his trip in HCM City. Six days later, he returned to Tan Son Nhat Airport to get the money.

Recently, both Vietnam Airlines and Jetstar Pacific have issues warnings over thieves on planes as theft becomes more common during the last months of the year.
