Bao Thai is facing cerebral palsy

Hien had to stay home to care for her son, while her husband did different jobs to support the family.

In 2018, the couple had their second son Hoang Duy Tan. However, Tan has also faced poor health conditions. Despite being four years old, he has not yet been able to speak.

The family depends on the father’s modest income. Linh is working as a mechanic. In many cases, Hien has borrowed money from relatives and neighbours to take her children to hospital.

Thai goes to hospital once or twice a month and each visit costs millions of VND. Tan is sent to a special education class which costs several million VND monthly.

Pham Van Khanh, party secretary of Quang Tan Village in Hau Loc District, said that Hien’s family is the poorest in the locality. He hoped that donors could help them.
