Hanoi streets turned into rivers due to heavy rains
Many streets in Hanoi have been seriously submerged after heavy rains today, July 17, caused by tropical storm Talas.
Torrential rains are sweeping through Vietnam's northern and north-central regions, with rainfall of 100-300 millimetres.
The National Centre for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting said that the storm has weakened by 4 am on July 17 but heavy rains may cause landslide in the mountainous areas floods in some lower areas in provinces from Thanh Hoa to Quang Binh.
