Outstanding Vietnamese entrepreneurs 2022 honoured
Sixty entrepreneurs were honoured as outstanding Vietnamese entrepreneurs at a ceremony held on Wednesday morning in Hanoi.
"These outstanding entrepreneurs are running enterprises of different sizes from all economic sectors," Cong said. "The oldest person is 82 years old and the youngest is 34."
The VCCI President expressed hopes that the award winners would spread the entrepreneurial spirit and business culture in the Vietnamese business community.
Speaking at the ceremony, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh praised the great efforts and contributions of the business community, both in building and developing the country's economy, and the efforts with the whole country to fight the Covid-19 pandemic.
The prime minister also talked about the difficulties that the business community might have to face in the coming time and suggested measures to deal with the challenges posed.
Among the top 10 outstanding Vietnamese entrepreneurs 2022 honoured today, there were some billionaires including Truong Hai Auto Corporation ChairmanTran Ba Duong, Vietnam Oil and Gas Group General Director Le Manh Hung, and Minh Long 1 Co., Ltd Members' Council Chairman Ly Ngoc Minh.

Sixty entrepreneurs were honoured as outstanding Vietnamese entrepreneurs at a ceremony held on October 12 in Hanoi.
The ceremony was held by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) on the occasion of Vietnamese Entrepreneurs' Day (October 13).
Addressing the ceremony, VCCI President Pham Tan Cong, noted that the 60 outstanding entrepreneurs were leading businesses that made revenues of over VND1.2 million billion in 2021, contributed nearly VND148 trillion to the state budget, and created over 251,000 jobs.
