BBC screens Vietnam documentaries for August show

BBC and Vietnamese TV and film producing company Redbridge are selecting three best Vietnamese documentaries for BBC’s “My country- Vietnam” programme to be aired this August.

Vietnamese documentary producers wishing to air their products on BBC can send 30-60-minute clips made in 2009 – 2011 along with a summary in English to RedBridge TV & Film Production, 1 Trang Tien, Hanoi or through website www.redbridgevn.com before May 31.

Three best documentaries will be chosen to be shown on BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation Television).

Apart from receiving financial support, winners will receive DVDs about their documentaries that have been edited by BBC.

“My country” is a series of BBC documentaries aimed at introducing the culture, life and people of different countries.The show has featured many countries like Poland, Italy, Australia, South Africa, Brazil, Greece, Nigeria and France before coming to Vietnam.

This month, BBC will also air around 260 TV commercials lasting 15 seconds each to promote the diversity and beauty of beaches and seas around Vietnam.
