Death certificate for a Vietnamese worker issued in Angola

Some Vietnamese workers from Ky Anh District, Ha Tinh, have been murdered in Angola, Africa. According to DTiNews, there have been at least 4 victims, all workers stationed in Angola.

The latest victims are Nguyen Thi Xuan, born in 1978 at Ky Khang Commune, Ky Anh District, Ha Tinh and Nguyen Thi Hai, born in 1975 at Hong Linh Commune, Ha Tinh.

They were best friends for the past 10 years and had been working in the Viana District of the captial city, Luanda, in Angola, for eight months.

Initial information provided by the victims families revealed that they were found dead by coworkers on the night of January 24 in the back yard of their hostel in Viana District. Their dead bodies had many cuts and their rooms had been trashed.

Angola’s authorities came to the scene and are investigating the reason behind their deaths. One month after being murdered, the bodies were returned to Vietnam.

At present, authorities of Vietnam and Angola are cooperating to investigate why they were killed and to find the murderer. However, the death certificate of Xuan issued by a Vietnamese representative agency in Angola said that she was robbed and murdered.

According to research by DTiNews, there were another two victims in Ky Anh District murdered. They also worked in Angola. One was living at Ky Chau Commune and the other is from Ky Trinh Commune.
