Tennis player Ly Hoang Nam claimed the championship title of the boys’ singles event of the ITF Juninor G1 tournament.

Before the final match, the RoK’s player, rated 31st in the ITF Junior rankings, was ranked higher than the Vietnamese tennis champion, Ly Hoang Nam, who stood at 49th position.

However, Hoang Nam caused a big surprise as he effortlessly beat his rival 6-3 in the first set and 6-0 in the second set, claiming the championship title and furthering his winning streak. Hoang Nam failed to lose a single set at the tournament.

Ly Hoang Nam is the first Vietnamese tennis player to claim the top spot at the ITF Juninor G1 Championships.
