Cold spell to hit north again
A strong cold spell is approaching the northern region, which will see temperatures plunge sharply from March 9, according to the National Centre for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting.

The centre predicts the cold snap will affect the north from March 9-11.
"Temperatures will sink to 15C in Hanoi and neighbouring provinces on March 11, said the centre's director, Hoang Duc Cuong."There will also be rains in some areas and strong wind in the Gulf of Tonkin and north of the East Sea."
