Farmers in Le Thuy District, Quang Binh Province is in crisis after floods destroyed thousands of tonnes of rice.

Nguyen Thi Vien, 79, said 40 tonnes of rice in her storage had been submerged. "I'm hiring hands to dry them to see how much I can save. The damaged rice probably can only be used as poultry feed," she said.
