Gunman steals USD95,000 from Tra Vinh bank
A masked gunman stole around VND2 billion (USD95,230) from a bank in the southern province of Tra Vinh on April 26.
According to Senior Lieutenant-colonel Huynh Van Khoi, spokesman of Tra Vinh Province’s Police Department, the man rushed into a branch of Vietcombank in Duyen Hai Town, threatened to shot the staff if they refused to hand over the cash.
When the robber came in, the security guard ran up stairs.
Tra Vinh police are investigating the case.
