Traveller goes missing in Binh Thuan

Nearly one hundred people are seeking for a male traveller who has gone missing in the south central province of Binh Thuan.

According to the initial information, the man is Thi An Kien, 24, who went missing at Ta Nang-Phan Dung road on May 11. Kien joined the trip with six other people.

His group has been searching for him, but he has not yet been found bout.

Hoang Van Duy, chairman of Phan Dung Commune in Tuy Phong District said that local authorities have received the information about the case and they have sent more people to assist in the search.

At present, nearly 100 people have been divided into different groups to search the man.

Ta Nang-Phan Dung is seen as one of the most beautiful routes for trekking in Vietnam. However, the area is quite dangerous for travellers without guides.

In October last year, a female visitor was swept away while crossing Yavly Stream near the route.
