They have also applied administrative fines to 175 people and issued warnings to 38 people.

According to the police, the protestors will face different charges depending on their actions, from causing public disorder or vandalising to more serious charges of 'threatening national security'. Some people were said to have used or been funded by overseas organisations to cause the disorder.

On the same day, the police in Bien Hoa City, Dong Nai Province, said they had seized 18 people who were thought to have been causing disorder during a peaceful demonstration. On June 10, hundreds of people flocked to the streets in Bien Hoa to protest against the draft law. Several people then caused chaos on several streets. The police arrested 52 and released 34 people later.

On June 15, Binh Thuan Province's Police Department announced that they would prosecute several protestors for causing public disorder, vandalising and assaulting officers on June 10 and 11 in Phan Thiet City and Phan Ri Cua Town.
