Flight delayed due to bird strike
A flight by budget carrier Jetstar Pacific was delayed for hours on Monday due to bird strike.
According to the airlines, Flight BL350 from HCM City landed at Dong Hoi Airport in the central province of Quang Binh at 1:10 pm.

However, after landing, the plane revealed signs of being hit by birds. To ensure the flight safety, Jetstar Pacific had to send the firm’s technicians from HCM City to Dong Hoi Airport for the check.
As a result, the flight was delayed 6:00pm on the same day, instead of the initially-scheduled time at 1:50 pm, on the same day. During this time, each passenger of the flight was served food and drink and compensated VND300,000 (USD13.61).
A Vietnam Airlines A321 flight was also hit at Cat Bi International Airport in Haiphong City, causing delays to seven flights.
