Coach and train stations in Hanoi, HCM City have been facing jams over the past two days as people are leaving the cities for their hometown on the occasion of the National Day, September 2, holiday. 

 On August 31, My Dinh, Giap Bat and Nuoc Ngam Bus stations in Hanoi were crowded with flows of people leaving for their hometown. 

Passengers at Giap Bat Bus Station increased sharply on the afternoon of August 31 

A family was going to a bus station in Hanoi 

Many routes were completely full

A Hanoi-Haiphong coach 

Passengers had to wait for their turn to buy tickets at My Dinh Bus Station 

Nguyen Thi Mai from the northern province of Quang Ninh said she had to wait for 30 minutes to get a ticket  

The same situation was seen at Nuoc Ngam Bus Station 

 Many people caught coaches on streets 

At Mien Dong Station in HCM City, many people took coaches to tourist sites such as Phan Thiet, Nha Trang, Dat Lat and Vung Tau.

Lots of streets in HCM City such as Dinh Bo Linh, Nguyen Xi, and Xo Viet Nghe Tinh saw serious traffic congestion
