Japan flights cancelled due to Storm Jebi

Vietnam Airlines had to delay four flights between Hanoi, HCM City and Osaka City on September 3 to 4. Then it continued to cancel flights between Hanoi, HCM City and Osaka City on September 5. Jetstar Pacific cancelled Hanoi-Osaka on September 4 and on the next day, it cancelled an Osaka-Danang flight. Affected passengers will be booked onto future flights.
Passengers were asked to monitor the weather and be active in rearranging their schedules if they have plans to fly to Osaka during this time. The airlines will notify the passengers when there is news from Osaka Airport as soon as possible.
Hundreds of flights from and to Kansai Airport nearby have also been cancelled. Japanese airline ANA Holdings cancelled 247 domestic flights and 8 international flights. Japan Airlines cancelled 176 domestic flights.
Jebi is the strongest storm to hit Japan for 25 years. Kansai Airport is being repaired after sustaining damage in the storm and will stay closed until 5 pm on September 6.
