PM Phuc to attend Japanese Emperor’s Enthronement Ceremony

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc will join heads of state and eminent guests to attend Emperor Naruhito’s Enthronement Ceremony in Tokyo from October 22-23 at the invitation of the Japanese Government.

Foreign Ministry’s Spokesperson Le Thi Thu Hang released the news at the press conference on Thursday.

Hang expressed her belief that Japan will continue gaining greater achievements in the national development process under the Reiwa Era, Hang said.

She also believes the Viet Nam-Japan extensive strategic partnership will continue to be consolidated and enhanced for mutual benefits and for peace, cooperation and development in the region and the world.

Phuc’s trip to Japan reflects Viet Nam’s wish to further consolidate and strengthen the bilateral ties in a more comprehensive and practical manner, Hang stressed.

The Government chief is also expected to have bilateral meetings with world’s leaders on the occasion, according to the Spokesperson.
