Eighteen members of a 20-tourist delegation from South Korea's Daegu City have left the central city of Danang, while the two remaining people have stayed in the city and agreed to be quarantined as regulated.

Vietnamese passengers are now being isolated at Dong Nghe Military Reserve Centre in Hoa Vang District, while South Koreans were temporarily monitored at Song Han Hotel.

Six other South Korean visitors who were isolated at Danang Lung Hospital also agreed to leave Danang. They joined the delegation of 18 South Korean tourists for the flight which departed Danang International Aiport at the midnight of Tuesday.

Representatives from Danang City and the South Korean Consulate General came to the airport to see off the guests.

The South Korean Consulate General thanked Vietnam for supporting the South Koreans return home.

Chairman of Danang People's Committee Huynh Duc Tho sent a letter to the South Korean visitors, saying that Danang hoped to welcome them again in the future.
