The lockdown, which was placed on February 13 to contain the outbreak from spreading further in the community, was lifted at midnight on March 4.

The isolation effectively restricted all incoming or outgoing travel from the commune with a population of 10,000 since February 13, as the locality has not recorded any new cases infected with the virus. 

Taskforces were arranged to be on duty at 12 quarantine stations around-the-clock. 

Representatives from the Ministry of Health were in the commune on Tuesday evening before the lockdown was removed .

All barriers and surveillance stations surrounding the commune were removed.

Some local people moved out of the commune right after the quarantine was stopped.
