Vietnam confirms 10 new Covid-19 cases

Vietnam reported 10 fresh Covid-19 infection cases on Tuesday morning, raising the country’s total number of patients to 652.

According to the Ministry of Health, all of the new patients aged between 30 and 68 are related to Danang Hospital in the central city of Danang where it is battling the Covid-19 outbreak.

Quang Nam Province has recorded three more Covid-19 cases numbered 643 to 645, consisting of one patient from Danang Hospital and two who had close contact with him.

Meanwhile, the seven others, patients 646 to 652, are from Danang City, including one staff member from Danang Hospital and five patients.

By Tuesday morning, Vietnam had 652 Covid-19 cases, including 307 from abroad, with 374 released from hospital for their full recovery.

Danang has topped the country in Covid-19 infections with 205 new patients detected since July 25.

Currently, 133,279 are being quarantined for pandemic prevention.
