The new patients include 19 in Danang City, eight in Quang Nam Province, and two in Quang Tri Province.

Patients numbered from 813-831 are from Danang City aged between 7 and 85. They are patients, caregivers, health workers and other staff at the Danang Hospital.

Patients 832 and 833 are residents in Quang Tri Province who are aged 29 and 37, respectively. They all had close contact with a person who was later confirmed to be the 750th Covid-19 patient.

Patients numbered from 834 and 841 are from Quang Nam Province who are aged between 11 and 70. Three among them had close contact with people who were later tested positive for Covid-19, two others were relatives of patients, and one returned from Danang.

As of Sunday evening, the number of Covid-19 patients related to Danang City has increased to 384 since July 25, the committee said.

A total of 395 patients have recovered and the country has reported 11 deaths.

Among those under treatment, nine have tested negative for SARS-CoV-2 once, and 37 others at least twice.

At present, 178,695 people who had close contact with Covid-19 patients or returned from virus-hit areas are being monitored at hospitals, quarantine facilities, and at home.
