The northern region of Vietnam has been forecasted to experience heavy rains until next week, according to the National Centre for Hydrometeorological Forecasting.

The rains would start from tomorrow, August 12 and then intensify two days later. The rainy weather would last until August 19.

The northern region of Vietnam has been forecasted to experience heavy rains until next week.

The rains are the result of the low tropical pressure caused by Storm Mekkhala which is ravaging China’s Fujian Province.

The northern central province of Thanh Hoa would also be affected by the heavy rains during the time.

Strong winds and hail have also been predicted to occur during the storms.

Northern mountainous areas would be hardest hit with rains to concentrate on mainly at night and early morning.

Hanoi would have torrential rains on August 14-18.

On Wednesday, the northern and northern central regions continue struggling with hot weather with temperatures of more than 38 degrees centigrade.
